The story of the year from Nike Basketball has undoubtedly been all about the Hyperdunk, their newest high performance masterpiece that features Nike’s two newest technologies, Lunar Foam for lightweight cushioning and Flywire paneling for lightweight containment along the upper. Nike and Foot Locker’s partnership store in Harlem, the House of Hoops, plans to release a special Rice High School edition of the Hyperdunk this month on Saturday, September 20th, to tie into the school that’s located just a few blocks from the store. Releasing in limited quantities, the shoe features a gleaming black patent leather upper, sharp varsity maize accents along the midfoot and heel and deep forest hits at the swoosh.
