Extremely rare, only 504 pair of each color-way were created of the Gel Kinsei Shogun–360 pair of each will be available within the United States. The inspiration for this unique pair of Asics shoes comes from the original concept of the performance running shoe which was based on the Samurai. The mesh is reminiscent of the traditional Japanese woven textiles and the laser cutting with gold printing resembles the armor and weapons of the Japanese warrior.
