FLU: What is your favorite shoe to perform in on stage?
OBR: We all like Supra’s. Alot of Jordan’s too. Z-man is part Cupacabra so his claw feet only fit into some shoes.
FLU: What were the first pair of shoes you bought with your own money?
OBR: Chuck Taylor’s bwoooy. Had my feet looking nice and long and skinny!
FLU: If you could design your own shoe, what features would it have?
OBR: I don’t know maybe that foam that those expensive ass beds are made out of. That space age material
FLU: What are your favorite sneakers to go out in?
OBR: I really been loving the Supra’s. Big tongue’s. I like them Pony “Neff’s” too. I always call people neff. Like Neff Goldblum, Neff Gordon or Neff Garcia.
FLU: If you could only wear one pair of sneakers for the rest of your life, what pair of shoes would that be?
OBR: Probably somethin super comfortable like a New Balance running shoe. If it’s for my whole life they are gonna have to be real durable. Maybe somethin with alot of class cuz when I’m 70 and still rockin some bright ass hi-tops that might not be the business at church and family reunions.
FLU: Tell us about the making of your latest video?
OBR: That’s “You Got Me” It was hot as hell that day. Hottest day of 2008 in LA. Mars like. We were just out there in Leimert Park having fun. Ready to make another one
FLU: What is your favorite song on the album is and why it means the most to you?
OBR: I like “Steppin Away” it’s on some real life type stuff. “Choc-O-Lot” is crazy and goes hard at the shows
