FLU: What is your favorite shoe to perform in on stage?
ZI: Chuck Taylor (Converse) / Nike Blazer
FLU: What were the first pair of shoes you bought with your own money?
ZI: Chuck Talor (Converse) blue and white.
FLU: If you could design your own shoe, what features would it have?
ZI: I would have velcro, mid-to-high-tops and very little logo placement. In every color on earth including transparent.
FLU: What are your favorite sneakers to go out in?-
ZI: Adidas Concords- Snake skin
FLU: If you could only wear one pair of sneakers for the rest of your life, what pair os shoes would that be?
ZI: All white Keds with in-soles..got to be gellin’
FLU: If you can buy your significant other a pair of kicks, what pair would they be?
ZI: Adidas -Granada - dark brown.
FLU: Tell us about the making of your latest video?
ZI: (There is a video in the making right now)…for “Grow Again” a team of animators in Vancouver, who have been working on projects that pay pay well, but don’t let them flex their artistic expression (or use their full skill set)…A friend has gathered this starving-to-express crew and we’ve set up some green screens, moving platforms, turntables, cranes (’coz it’s available..)…and working with the artist that designed my album cover and best friend Heather Thompson, “bringing the art to life” and creating what one could imagine goes on inside your head…Fun.
FLU: What is your favorite song on the album is and why it means the most to you?
ZI: Computer Girl - ‘coz I’m a digi-phobe that just wants to love.
FLU: What activities do you do while on tour to stay fit to perform?
ZI: Dancing, street fighting and deep breathing.
