A re-imagining of the Hyperflight arrives at Foot Locker in Oct/Nov. as the Zoom Hustle. This is the first move in Nike’s “Refresh” initiative where they rework and update older designs. The word “FRESH” is embossed on the tongue, with the “RE” darkened more than the other letters to represent REFRESH.
The shoe has similar lines to the Hyperflight, and maintains the light-weight patent upper. One real nice touch is the aerated medial side of the shoe which contrasts sharply with the smooth lateral side.
The first color to drop at Foot Locker is this ridiculously clean blacked-out version, so keep an eye out when late Fall rolls around. More shots in the gallery.

Running meets basketball in the new Nike Air Hoop Structure, which is a hybrid of the Air Structure Triax ‘91 and… a basketball shoe. There hasn’t been any word on exactly which one (any thoughts?), although it looks like the Jordan VI: the angle and height of the collar, the small cushion on the collar, the jagged/wavy lines of the midsole, the general silhouette…
Foot Locker is dropping a smooth gray color-up (gry/mts/wht) in November, which looks a lot cleaner than the colorful mash-ups I’ve been seeing, that stay closer to the Triax ‘91 OG colors. More shots in the gallery, enjoy.

These days you’re more likely to see a retro-release or a color update than a brand new shoe, but come holiday 2009 Foot Locker will have just that. The scheduled release of the brand new Auto Flight, in blk/infra-red, is set for October/November. It’s pretty much a win-win: fresh new shoe and the ever popular infra-red colorway. The upper drafts off of the Flight Lite, anchored by a vulcanized sole. The clean black leather upper is set off nicely with infra-red hilights on the tongue, and peeking through on the collar and upper lining.

A limited edition tie-dye Nike Blazer is dropping only at House of Hoops on Friday, June 12th. It’s dark obsidian/pro-gold, but the real spark comes from the tie-dye upper. More shots of the blazer after the jump.
Today, two Hypermax PE’s hit House of Hoops locations. The David West blk/v-prpl and Pau Gasol wht/v-prpl are in stores now. Joining the “Hyper” series (see Hyperdunk, Hyperize) Pau and DWest are going with a sleeker look than their Powermax’s, which dropped at the HoH LA opening in Oct, but keeping a lot of the signature detailing such as the DWest and Pau Gasol logos and colors. Store shots below with more after the jump.

The rumors are true, the Nike Air Max 3 (formerly the Air Garnett 3) is making a comeback, even though my man KG probably won’t for this year’s NBA playoffs, sorry Celtics fans. This October, Foot Locker is dropping a blk/mts/hyper-blue retroed Nike Air Max 3. The blue colorway goes back to Garnett’s days with the Timberwolves, though he’s making his name in Celtic green with one NBA championship already under his belt.
The shoe is coming back pretty much unchanged, with its leather and gradient mesh upper and sizable air units in the sole (tuned air in the heel, zoom air in the forefoot). The only shift of note is some of Garnett’s signature details have fallen off, like the “OBF” which used to be on the sole (see the nucleus of the atom, now a swoosh) which stood for “Official Block Family” the name for Garnett’s core crew. More detail shots in the gallery.

On May 9th, Foot Locker and House of Hoops will be dropping a fusion of the Air Force 1 and arguably the hottest colorway of the AJ IX. The AJF 9 Blk/V.Red, as seen on the feet of Spizike and Joey Crack at the Jordan Brand Classic in MSG last Saturday, will be a definite must cop. The all red interior and contrast stitch are very nice touches on the all black upper.

Jared Jeffries and John Starks of the NY Knicks measure Jarrett Matthis’s foot as part of the New York’s Biggest Foot contest held at Foot Locker.
When you think boot, the first thing that comes to mind is Timberland. When you think Timbs, you’re usually thinking the Classic 6″ Wheat aka the “yellow boot” “constructs” or “butter.” This classic water-proof boot, a worker with style, is getting a protective scuff-proof shell to make it even tougher. It feels like a layer of fine-grit sandpaper, and fends off scratches and other damage when you’re putting in serious work. The Scuff Proof Timb featured below hits Foot Locker in October. More shots after the jump.
