Dunk Hi 08 ND Swan Release

We showed you the first of the “East” Dunks yesterday with the green/red Supreme Spark (strongly resembling the Gucci SB), and here is another October release for the east side, available at House of Hoops and select Foot Locker stores.
This Dunk Hi 08 ND in swan/anthra/volt ylw has a real clean look with some nice contrasting details. The clean swan upper is set-off by volt yellow contrast stitching and bordering on the collar, as well as volt yellow speckling on the black midsole. The outsole is clean white like the upper. The sock-liner sports another curious cartoon character, a pair of legs buried under a hat with a stop-watch hanging from it. More detailed shots in the gallery.

[...] Yesterday, we showed you a Premium Gucci-inspired Dunk High that is set to be a part of Nike’s upcoming East vs. West sneaker battle and now we get a look at another Dunk High colorway that will also be representing for the East. We already gave you a peek at these as part of our Fall ‘09 Dunk preview, but now we have a slew of new images to give you a closer look at these fresh new kicks. This Dunk High model features a Swan upper with Volt Yellow accents and contrast stitching and an Anthracite midsole covered in Volt speckles. Like the Gucci Dunks from yesterday, these also sport a cartoon character printed on the insole. We’re not sure yet about the significance of these characters, but we will have more info on the Nike East vs. West project very soon, so stay tuned. The monotony of the swan upper is broken up by the volt stitching and lining. The midsole is laced with swan and volt speckling and set atop a white outsole. An added detail is the cartoon character on the insole which varies from shoe to shoe in the House of Hoops Series. And if that isn’t enough for you, the leather is very subtly textured.
