Zoom Kobe IV ‘Finals MVP’ Coming to House of Hoops

The Finals MVP version of the Zoom Kobe IV that Kobe rocked in his win over the Magic in the 2009 NBA Finals is hitting House of Hoops locations soon. The Home version drops Wednesday 7/22, and the Away on Wednesday 8/5. On both versions, the collar and vamp are covered with scribbled text of major Kobe achievements (61 pts at…) that paved the way for the team’s Finals appearance.

[...] Not too many sneakerheads will be surprised to hear that the home and away 61 Points editions of the Zoom Kobe IV, worn by the Black Mamba during the NBA Finals, will be dropping at House of Hoops this summer. It was originally reported that these would not be released for retail, but after the big response, it had to be a no-brainer for Nike to give the people what they want. To the delight of many, the kicks will be released in both the white and black colorways, complete with gold scribbled text all over. The white “home” version will drop on Wednesday, July 22nd, with the black “away” kicks coming a couple weeks later on Wednesday, August 5th. I am sure a lot of collectors were waiting fot this news and this release since it was rumored that these were not going to be publicly released. And even better news to go along with the release is that both the white and black colorways will be released. The white home sneaker will drop first on Wednesday, July 22nd and the black away sneaker will drop on Wednesday, August 5th.
