Spizike Boot at House of Hoops in December

We already showed you some detailed shots of the dark cinder Spizike Boot set to drop in October at House of Hoops, but we’re following it up with a flint-grey/cherrywood/nightshade also at House of Hoops in December.
The Spizike Boot looks exactly as you would expect it to: an upper that ties very closely to the Spizike sneaker, reworked with a heartier boot body and midsole. It still maintains some of the key Jordan fusion elements from the original sneaker like the triangular lace holders from the AJ4, the lace lock and mesh from the AJ5, and the tongue of the AJ6. The upper is a mix of nubuck and other leathers, with some pieces textured to imitate the elephant print on the original shoe. The outsole is blue with light speckling. The heel sports the likeness of Spike Lee’s iconic character “Mars Blackmon” originally from the movie “She’s Gotta Have It,” but more well-known in the sneaker world for being the pitch-man for Air Jordan commercials in the early 90’s.
