This month, Foot Locker brings in the Nike Blazer High “Spike Lee,” a tribute to the acclaimed film director, producer, writer, actor and former Air Jordan pitchman.

This Blazer, as a Nike brand shoe, diverges from Spike Lee’s long-standing affiliation with the Jordan name, but still features familiar detailing and colors relevant to him.
The tongue is distinctly Spike Lee, marked by the image of black-rimmed glasses on the outside and the name of his hometown “Brooklyn” on the inside.
The sneaker features beet red swooshes and a lucky green inner lining and outsole. The colors red and green go back to 1989 where they were predominant in his groundbreaking movie “Do the Right Thing” (which inspired a Jordan Retro I Pack earlier this year featuring those two colors). Today, even the banner hanging above his Brooklyn-based film company, 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, is red with a green logo, making the colorway on these Blazers fit perfectly with the Spike Lee image.
The rest of the shoe is simple and clean, comprised of a white perf leather upper, white toebox, black laces, and a black midsole.
