Jordan CP3.III at Foot Locker and House of Hoops 1/02/10

Chris Paul’s latest signature shoe rings in the new year, arriving at Foot Locker and House of Hoops locations Saturday, January 2nd. It is pictured here in Hornets black/orion blue/white, with more colors to come.
The top of the upper is black suede, with a layer of etched coat-of-arms just below it complete with interlocked “C” and “P” and fleur-de-lis, the French symbol you see all over New Orleans gear (think Saints’ helmet).
The remainder of the upper is white leather with black contrast stitching, giving way to a black midsole with white speckling. The outsole has one of the most interesting herringbone layouts I have seen, arranging the standard zig-zag patterns around clusters of hexagons that recall the honeycomb pattern of a hornets nest, another subtle reference to CP3’s team.
