Nike Trainer 1 Mid “LA” at Foot Locker

Last week we profiled the Nike Trainer 1 Mid “NYC,” inspired by the city of New York. This week our focus travels across the country to Los Angeles as we feature the Nike Trainer 1 Mid “LA,” hitting select Foot Locker stores next week.
The Trainer 1 “LA” has the same technical specs as its “NYC” counterpart, including Nike’s patented Diamond FLX outsole for flexible stability and a Max Air midsole for cushioning, which give this shoe true performance capabilities.
But the colorway and detailing are all about LA. The shoe has a blue suede upper with white leather overlays, a blue suede toebox with a white leather toe cap, and a white leather heel highlighted by the letters “LA” in graffiti-style writing over a red Nike swoosh.

So Los Angeles is a city that was home to the New York Yankee baseball team since 1958. Instead of repping for New York though this Trainer 1 is for Los Angeles Dodgers bringing a White/Blue/Red colorway with some suede on the toe box and mid panel. Other sneaker features include the city and team logo with the LA Swoosh logo along with insole graphics featuring the Dodgers’ retired numbers.
