So there were was one obvious difference between the sample and the actual release… the upper. The charcoal part of the upper was much lighter on the release of the Jordan Retro 9 Charcoal. There were two other subtle differences though. See if you caught them, full breakdown after the jump…

You should have spotted 3 changes total:
1. The Upper- the charcoal piecing is significantly lighter on the actual shoe
2. The Heel Tab- it’s black on the sample, but red on the release
3. The Tongue Lining- this was the toughest one, but the lining on the back of the tongue was red on the sample and black on the release
