When Nike’s designers were working on LeBron James’ newest signature shoe, his career was going through some major changes. He was getting a new number, a new team, basically starting a new era. A lot of things weren’t going to be settled by the time the prototypes of the shoe were created, so there were bound to be some changes to the production model (even more than usual).
