In this series we take a dive into our extensive sample closet to pull out some long lost favorites that once graced the shelves of Foot Locker stores. Anyone still holding their Air Jordan Retro 3 Black/Cement Grey from 1994? It also dropped in 2001 and as part of a countdown pack in 2008, but the sample below is from the first retro round, 17 years ago.

When the Air Jordan III first arrived in 1988, Black/Cement Grey was one of the original colorways. The III famously debuted the Jumpman logo as well as elephant print, a now iconic pattern for Jordan Brand. MJ had a stellar year in his new shoes, winning his first of five MVPs and the Slam Dunk Contest. If anyone’s got their ’94 or even the OG ’88 pair hit us up in the comments, Facebook, or Twitter.
