The Jordan Retro XII “Playoffs” is set to be released this Saturday, April 21, for just the second time since the shoe was retro-ed in 2003. The Playoff 12 colorway includes a tumbled leather black upper with white tumbled leather on both sides of the shoe. The XIIs were first made famous by Jordan during the 1996-1997 season during the 1997 All Star Game and the Bulls trip to their second consecutive championship and Jordan’s fifth overall. Following the release of the Air Jordan XI in 1996, the XII was a heavier shoe than previous models and was not initially received well. However, because of the durability and design of the shoe, along with the popularity of the Playoff colorway, the Retro XII has taken its rightful place amongst the Jordan Retro line.

The Jordan Retro XII “Playoffs” will retail for $160 and will release in stores and online on April 21. There will be a midnight release on Footlocker.com. Click here to purchase at midnight online.
