Today, we’ll take a first look at the new Under Armour Charge BB basketball shoe, available starting this week in stores. Under Armour is certainly known as an innovator in the shoe game and they’ve taken it another step further with the launch of their newest basketball shoe. The Charge BB is a lightweight basketball shoe that offers the “Support of a High” and the “Feel of a Low”. One of most unique basketball shoes we’ve seen, the Charge BB offers elements of style, comfort and stability that truly showcase the creativeness and technology of the Under Armour brand.

The Charge BB weighs in at miniscule 13.8 oz, and is made with UA’s infamous HeatGear® materials, allowing for maximum breathability to wick away sweat to keep your foot cool, light, and dry. UA calls the shoe an “articulation” and we certainly agree. The two-piece upper works with your anatomy to “articulate” around the ankle for the ultimate locked down fit without losing that flexibility that allows you to keep totally mobile. To add to the style, the heel sports the the familiar UA logo, enlarged to give it that sense of boldness. Underneath the shoe, the low, light, full-length Micro G® foam cushions allows for maximum comfort, cushioning, and extra bounce. Additionally, the clear rubber outsole is cored out to be lighter without sacrificing durability.

The new Under Armour Charge his Foot Locker stores this week in four colorways; Empire Blue Silver, Fuego/White, Black/Capri and Graphite/Neon/Black. The retail price is $130.
