Originally made as the Nike Zoom Flyposite cleat, the Nike Air Max Flyposite has had its cleat replaced with a 360 degree Air Max bubble and has been transformed from a football shoe to a cross trainer. In a year in which we’ve seen comebacks of a number of retro football models, the Flyposite is a brand new football inspired shoe. The signature shoe of Detroit’s Calvin Johnson (in his own custom colorway), the Flyposite is a sleek high top created with a number of different materials. Foamposite wraps completely around the shoe from the ankle to the heel and along the side with the exception of the toe box. Nubuck takes care of the lace collar and toe. The Nike Swoosh is prominently displayed on the toe box with another small Swoosh on the inside ankle and heel. The black and silver Raiders-inspired colors are set off on this pair with silver taking care of the Foamposite, branding, and inner lining with black taking care of everything else. It’s officially a black/metallic silver–anthracite colorway.
The Nike Air Max Flyposite “Raiders” is available at Foot Locker and online at Footlocker.com now for $185.
