It’s not quite 2013 yet but this week we got our first look at the next member of the glorious Air Max family. The Air Max 2013 dropped in its first colorway this week on December 26. The new model sports a 360 degree Air Max bubble that has become a staple of the Air Max releases the last couple of years. This year’s shoe however has an upper that is made almost entirely from mesh and Hyperfuse, setting it apart from its predecessors. Though it’s not quite in the lightweight running category yet due to its bulk, the Air Max line continues to be made lighter and lighter every year. The mesh, Flywire, and Hyperfuse, combine for a shoe that is 13.7 ounces but with more support than a true lightweight design could every provide. The brand new colorway – Reflective Silver – ensures that anyone with a light can see your feet at night (sorry for the rhymes). The shoe’s upper is made entirely of 3M reflective silver. Pimento accents against the silver shoe pop on the outsole and at the very top of the laces. It’s a pretty simple colorway with amazingly eye catching results.

The Nike Air Max 2013 is Nike+ enabled and retails for $200. They are currently available at Foot Locker stores and online at A link to buy online can be found below.
