Whenever a bred colorway of an Air Jordan releases, you know its cause for celebration. Well, today will surely be a good day because the Jordan Retro XIII “Bred” is back in stores for the first time in eight years. Inspired by a jaguar, the XIII were worn by Michael Jordan in his final season with the Chicago Bulls when he won his sixth of six NBA championships and entered and retired for the second time. Black tumbled leather takes care of the toe box but quickly switches to the stylized pattern that is the most defining feature of the XIII. Red suede fills in the gaps left on the upper around the ankle, above the midsole and the midsole itself. Black parts of the outsole stick up into the miidsole while a hologram on the ankle resembles the eye of the jaguar and has some pretty cool graphics inside.

The Jordan Retro XIII “Bred” releases today, January 12, at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker, and online at Footlocker.com for $170. A link to buy online can be found below.
