It’s Throwback Thursday here at Foot Locker, and today we are dropping some old school Nike running silhouettes, but this time we’re adding in some new school upgrades. Today, Thursday, January 17th, we’re releasing the Nike Air Max Engineered Mesh Pack – the Air Max 90, 95 and 97 – in their iconic OG forms, but transformed with Nike’s new engineered mesh technology. The colorways include the Air Max 90 “Infrared,” Air Max 95 “Grey/White/Volt,” and the Air Max 97 “Metallic Silver.”

The Air Max 90 EM features an engineered mesh fabric designed to increase breathability and flexibility, while providing more strength and durability than previous meshes. The “Infrared” colorway pays homage to the original Air Max 90 colorway we all know and love.

The Air Max 95 really needs no introduction. The iconic sneakerhead favorite was originally introduced in 1995 with a concept that mimicked the human body: a midsole that represented the spine, panels that represented muscles, loopholes and straps represented the ribs and the mesh represented the skin. It was also the first introduction of the visible AirĀ® unit in the forefoot, which made the 95 stand out from all others before it. Now it’s been reintroduced, refreshed and is here today for all sneakerheads to enjoy in one of its original colors, the “Grey/White/Volt.”

The last shoe in the pack is the Air Max 97, a classic running shoe that is perfect for casual wear in addition to training. The low top 97 features a full Air Max bubble sole that provides maximum comfort and a synthetic leather and mesh upper that allows for maximum breathability and support. The “metallic silver” is a basic colorway needed in any sneaker rotation.

The Nike Air Max Engineered Mesh Pack drops today in stores and online. The Air Max 90 costs $120, the Air Max 95 $160, and the Air Max 97 $155. Check the Foot Locker Launch Locator here to see if the store in your area will carry the shoe. More photos and links to buy can be found below.
