Few people would argue with the status Foamposites have achieved in the sneaker game as of late. From Thanksgiving’s Pink Foamposites to December’s “Stealth” Foams, the Foamposite continues to release in the most unique of colorways and that doesn’t look to be coming to an end any time soon. While the colors on each Foam release seem to be switched around to undoubtedly contribute to that week’s hottest release, the style and patterns on the shoe have rarely if ever been tinkered with. That changes today with the release of the Nike Air Foamposite One Premium “White Camo.” These Foams are clearly a military inspired shoe – featuring black, white, and grey camouflage on the shoe’s foam material section. Black nubuck surrounds the laces and tongue and is speckled with red accents on the Nike swoosh and other branding elements. An icy midsole sets off the eye-popping upper while including an attribute that has been featured on the majority of Foamposites as of late. The heel of the shoe features the Penny Hardaway cent brand logo while the heel tabs feature another military shoutout in the form of a red lightning bolt – a decoration that was found on war planes throughout the first half of the 20th Century. In another homage to the military theme, the Fighter Jet Foams come with a set of Penny Hardaway dog tags.
The Nike Air Foamposite One Premium “White Camo” releases today, February 9, and will cost $235. They will be available at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker, and online at Footlocker.com.
