Approved Heat is kicking in to high gear this week with the release of a quartet of new colorways for the revolutionary Nike Air Max Engineered Mesh collection. Since the world got its first glimpse of Nike visible air in ’87, the Air Max Story has consistently been one of reinvention. Now in 2013, Nike Sportswear has introduced it’s new revolutionary Engineered Mesh technology. This innovative fabrication revolutionizes three classic Air Max styles; the ’90, ’95 and ’97, with lightweight breathability, while heritage gets its due through original colors and game-changing cushioning. The ’90 silhouette gets two new colorways – Night Stadium/Cool Grey/Strata Grey/Night Stadium and Seaweed/Gorge Green/Strata Grey/Seawee. The ’95 EM comes in Black/Bright Citrus/Strata Grey/Black and the ’97 Premium comes in Blackened Blue/Deep Royal Blue/Strata Grey. Each silhouette features the popular sidewalk speckled pattern, introduced in 2012, that wraps each shoe. An Air Max wouldn’t be complete without the visible air unit, which appears on all three in different colors. All of these new kicks are available now in stores and online at Footlocker.com. Pricing information can be found below. Let us know if you’ll be picking up a pair and what you think of the new EM technology.
