Nicknamed for the prominently displayed 3M material on various points of the shoe, the newest Jordan Spizike will drop this Saturday – the first time we’ll see the Spizike in a new colorway in almost three months. The “3M” Spizike is actually a black/chilling red-metallic silver-tour yellow colorway that is made up of a slew of materials. Black suede is featured on the upper above a reflective silver 3M strip. The “wings” inspired by the Retro 4 are yellow along with the inner lining, ankle lace collar, stitching around the upper, and the toe section of the midsole. Red can be found on Jordan branding on the tongue, the heel tab, and the mid foot lace loop while metallic silver is on the toe and heel elephant print. The Spizike is actually a hybrid of all the Air Jordans that involved Spike Lee. Elements from the Air Jordan 4, the Air Jordan 5, the Air Jordan 6, and the Air Jordan 20 are meshed together to form another classic Jordan.
The Jordan Spizike “3M” releases on Saturday, March 2 at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker, and online at Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 am EST) for $175. This release will also be available in grade school sizes for $120. Check the Launch Locator here to see which stores will be getting this release.
