Over the year’s we’ve seen many colorways of the Nike Air Foamposite One released each bearing it’s own unique story, but what about the inspiration behind the design? What many people don’t know is that the inspiration behind the Foamposite design was derived from the iridescent skin of the Beetle. Beetles are one of the most diverse creatures on the planet, and you can say the same thing about the Foamposites. Each colorway produced has its own blend of elements modeled to reflect that concept and this newest colorway is no different. Drawing its inspiration from a sunset, the new “Electro Purple/Total Orange” colorway features a purple to pink anodized finish that constantly changes colors and directions, like it’s namesake did on the basketball court. Orange accents cover the 1Cent logo and Swoosh design and mesh nicely on the tongue and heel. The clear outsole finishes off the design to reveal the construction.
