It’s been a little while since we’ve seen Jordan release a new Son of Mars. On Saturday the first Son of Mars Low will drop at House of Hoops by Foot Locker. Though it shares a name with the original Son of Mars, the Son of Mars Low looks more like a completely new design than a low top version of its predecessor. Saturday’s debut release of the Son of Mars Low is officially a tour yellow/grape ice-cement grey-white colorway. Breaking down this model, the Son of Mars Low Constructed from elements from the Air Jordan III, IV, V, and VI. The shoe’s upper design and leace loops are heavily influenced by the AJ VI. The ankle padding and tongue design is taken from the V, while the midsole and heel are straight from the IVs. The toe and heel elephant print is a signature trait of the AJ III. The Son of Mars Low certainly hits the ground running with this bright colorway. What do you think of Jordan brand’s latest retro hybrid?

The Jordan Son of Mars Low “Tour Yellow” drops at House of Hoops by Foot Locker and online at on Saturday, April 13 for $140.
