In the last couple of years Jordan Brand has been shaped by two distinct types of shoes: retros and performance. Their performance shoes, as of late, have pushed the envelope in terms of technology, design, and of course, performance. Though the focus of the brand is usually on basketball, the newest addition to team Jordan is actually a training shoe – the Jordan Trunner Dominate Pro. Initially releasing in three colorways at Foot Locker, the Trunner Dominate Pro, combines elements from Jordan’s two most recent performance focused shoes and combines them into a great off-court shoe for the track, gym, and street. The Trunner’s upper is reminiscent of the Superfly with its triangular Hyperfuse cutouts to reduce weight. From the Jordan XX8, the Trunner has a mesh ankle booty (not removeable) and a flight plate in the midfoot of the shoe for added responsiveness. Overall, the Trunner Dominate is a great looking shoe and the first trainer in a while to be released by Jordan.

The trio of Jordan Trunner Dominate Pros that you can see below released at Foot Locker and online at today, May 1. Each pair retails for $125. Links to buy online can be found below.
