Kevin Durant’s game is all about versatility. He can be unguardable at one end of the court and suffocating and disruptive at the other end. He can effectively play four different positions, leading the team in dunks, assists and points on one night and blocks and rebounds another night. The KD VI, releasing tomorrow July 3rd, was built to provide the responsive performance that he needs for every position on the court.

To officially kick off the release of Kevin Durant’s sixth signature sneaker, Nike pays homage to KD’s home away from home, “Seat Pleasant” Activity Center, where he first developed his love of basketball and fine tuned his game. When designer Leo Chang first walked in and noticed the rec center’s door mat colors, inspiration for the lead colorway of the line would come. The colors teal and yellow make up this release. Sonic yellow dominates most of the upper while teal is used for the entire tongue, heel Max Air unit, and the outsole. Midnight navy takes over the Swoosh and the inner lining.

The Nike KD VI “Seat Pleasant” officially drops tomorrow, Wednesday, July 3rd for $130 at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker and (starting at 8:00 a.m. EST). A full run of kids sizes – Infant-Grade School) will also be available.
