The anticipated release of the Air Jordan Retro 4 “Toro Bravo” will be joined by the debut of the Air Jordan Retro 1 ’89 “Fire Red”. As the year suggests, this edition of the Retro 1 uses inspiration from the Retro 4 that debuted back in 1989. The mid panel is made up of the netted mesh made famous by the 4s. Cement grey print, another ode to the Retro, is used on the collar wings. Lastly, the inspiration is complete with the square Jordan Flight logo stitched on the tongue. Fire red is used on the leather upper while black details the inner lining and the laces. This release perfectly coincides with the Jordan Retro 4 “Toro Bravo” release.
The Air Jordan Retro 1 ’89 “Fire Red” officially drops Saturday, July 13th for $130 in men’s sizes at House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores. Footlocker.com will only carry boys grade school sizes for $95 (starting at 8:00 a.m. EST). Check the Launch Locator to see which stores will have this release.
