High and low top versions of two of Jordan’s popular basketball styles drop tomorrow, Saturday, July 20th in special “Supernova” colorways. First, we’ll take a look at the Super.Fly 2 which was first seen on Blake Griffin in the All-Star game back in February, and now it gets the “Supernova” treatment with it’s first public release. These high top kicks come equipped with Jordan’s new signature flight plate technology, first introduced on it’s newest silhouette, the Jordan XX8. Shades of purple, teal and black make up a striped-patterned upper, coupled with a black and white speckled midsole and red, royal and white colors give the shoe a Clippers feel and a true “Supernova” look.
The other “Supernova” style dropping tomorrow is Chris Paul’s low-top signature CP3.VI model. In addition to all of the technical support and cushioning aspects of a CP3.VI sneaker, this “Supernova” version also features the bold and bright designs you’ve come to expect from the Artist Edition CP3.VI models. These kicks feature an assortment of colorways living up to “Supernova” nickname, including black, teal, pink, red, royal and white which are all showcased throughout the elements of the shoe and also its unique design print pattern.
The Jordan Super.Fly 2 and CP3.VI “Supernova” both release on Saturday, July 20th at House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores and online at Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 am EDT). The CP3.VI will cost $125 and the Super.Fly costs $130. Check out the Launch Locator to see the store list.
