For only the second time since 1997, the Nike Air Bakin’ will hit stores. This Saturday, the retro basketball shoe, formerly endorsed by NBA Stars Mitch Richmond and Tim Hardaway, will drop in the original black/metallic silver-varisty red-orange blaze colorway. The Bakin’ (as in “shakin’ and bakin’” and not the breakfast food) features a black upper which is mostly covered by a red vented overlay. Orange blaze laces pop against the red and have also led some to nickname the shoe “Ketchup & Mustard.” Nike branding appears on the shoe’s ankle, tongue, midsole, and heel and an Air Max bubble is featured in the heel, as well.
The 90′s classic, Nike Air Bakin’, will drop this Saturday, April 5th at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT) for $150. The release will also be available in kids sizes at Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker and online. Check the Launch Locator to see which stores will have this release.
