On Black Friday, 11/27, Raider Nation will be giving thanks to House of Hoops for dropping the Big Nike Low LE in Black/Metallic Silver. The shoe hits stores the day after the Oakland Raiders take on the Dallas Cowboys during the NFL’s annual Thanksgiving Classic. And although the shoe has no official ties to the Oakland Raiders, it seems as if Nike was inspired by the football team.
So Kobe got his 4 rings, and his 4 rings shoe, and now his biggest supporter is getting his own shoe as well. The puppet character Lil’ Dez from the Kobe/Lebron MVPuppets commercials has a signature Nike Big Nike dropping tomorrow, 10/27 at House of Hoops locations. I think this makes him the second puppet to have his own PE, the other being Lil’ Penny’s 1/2 cent. Big shoes for two little puppets.
The Big Nike High in the eggplant Foamposite colorway (technically it’s abyss/black/metallic silver) will drop at House of Hoops locations Wednesday 9/23. For more shots and details check the Gallery, and check back today and tomorrow for some other House of Hoops releases coming this week.

This limited Big Nike Hi ylw/blk/roy/red is at House of Hoops now. Some interesting updates on this Big Nike are the patent swoosh with yellow contrast stitching, and the lack of “Big Nike” traditionally printed across the heel. Originally released in the mid ‘80s, the Big Nike is making a return in yet another flavor. This time Nike Sportswear brings us an original colorway in brwn/blk/red. The toe cap is full grain brown leather which runs up the lacing holes. The mid panel of the upper is brown textured nubuck, while the heel is made of smooth black suede. (more…)
The wht/v.red/blk Big Nike Hi LE, sporting red plaid, is set to release on Friday 5/15, exclusively at House of Hoops stores. We originally had it down earlier, but it was pushed to the day before the return of the Shox BB4, also a House of Hoops Exclusive. Should be a big time weekend.
