A foursome of Houston-inspired Jordans will be hitting the House of Hoops in Chicago this Saturday, December 19. These shoes were created for the House of Hoops grand opening in Houston and have been available only at the Houston HOH locations until now.
If you’re new to the WCOTS feature, here’s the deal: The AJF4 black/v-red/stealth just released this past Saturday, and below are some shots of an early sample. Can you figure out all the elements on the shoe that changed from the sample to the released version?

This Saturday, 8/29 the next installment of the AJF4 hits Foot Locker stores and footlocker.com. The new color is a black/varsity red/stealth.
The upper is blacked out with touches of grey on the lace-lits and collar lining. The upper meets the grey midsole with red contrast stitching, and the outsole is also grey with touches of red at the toe and heel.
So here it is, the answer for what really changed on the released version of the Air Jordan Fusion 4, as compared to the sample we showed you. Before we give away the answer I just wanted to give a shout to everyone who was throwing out color shade differences: I hear you.
Still, that’s not the “answer” since so many minor factors can contribute to this outside of the shoe production itself (the color balance of your computer monitor, the lighting when the shoe was photographed, how long one sample sat on the designer’s windowsill in the sun… etc.)
