The World Basketball Festival is in full swing, and we’ve got another athlete appearance at the Harlem House of Hoops. Kevin Durant will be stopping by Saturday, August 14th at 6pm. Come meet one of the USA’s biggest weapons in the upcoming FIBA World Championships, and check some of the new WBF gear.
USA basketball stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul are swinging by House of Hoops Harlem Wednesday, August 11th at 7pm. This is the beginning of a lot of great events set to hit New York City as part of the first annual World Basketball Festival.
First seen in the ’09 All Star Slam Dunk contest, yesterday Nate Robinson revealed the now infamous neon green Nike Foamposite Lite at the House of Hoops in Harlem. The demand has grown to such that people began lining up at the store a week ago to be the first to own the Slam Dunk legend’s signature shoe. The wait is over, and Nate was with us to celebrate and sign autographs for some of his biggest and most dedicated fans.
The super secret launch of the DJ Clark Kent AF1 on 11/28 was major. Release info was very closely guarded, and I seriously doubt you could name another sneaker that incorporated pony hair. If you weren’t one of the lucky few to snag this on Black Friday, then it’s time to get lucky and snatch a pair at the Harlem House of Hoops on 12/20. Super limited. Shots below via Freshnessmag
