Originally made infamous on the Zoom Kobe IV (the wrong draft date was printed on the heel on some pairs) the Charlotte Hornets themed “Draft Day” color has become a staple for the Kobe line. Made to celebrate the team that first drafted Kobe Bryant right out of high school, this Zoom Kobe V Hornets Draft Day (white/orion blue/varsity purple/black) will hit Foot Locker and footlocker.com in May.
Although he had to sit out this past weekend’s All Star Game due to injury, Kobe’s game should be coming on strong in the second half of the season, with the Lakers looking like the power-house in the West. His sneaker game is going just as hard, with the Zoom Kobe V Home (white/del sol/grey/varsity purple) arriving at Foot Locker and footlocker.com in April.

The next Zoom Kobe V to hit Foot Locker stores and footlocker.com is this white/black/varsity purple/del sol, arriving March 6th.
We have some release date musical chairs for the Nike Zoom Kobe V, so pay close attention. The Zoom Kobe V “Bruce Lee” has been kicked back to Saturday, February 6th when it will be available at all House of Hoops locations. This is the second move for the “Bruce Lee” so be sure to spread the word.
Friday, January 22nd the Zoom Kobe V “Dark Night” will be releasing at the Harlem House of Hoops store. Pairs will be arriving soon at the other House of Hoops locations, so keep checking with your nearest store and back here for availability.
Oh, and guess who’s going to be in the Big Apple January 22nd taking on the Knicks? That’s right, Kobe himself, and he’s planning to stop in at the Harlem House of Hoops post-game around 11:30 for the “Dark Knight” launch.

The Bruce Lee inspired Zoom Kobe V releases at House of Hoops locations on Saturday, January 16th. The bright yellow upper of the shoe is said to be inspired by the yellow jumpsuit Lee wears in the movie Game of Death. Interestingly enough, Bruce Lee fights Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in that movie.
The Christmas Day showdown between NBA superstars Kobe Bryant and LeBron James will include their latest signature sneakers in special make up colorways. They are extremely limited but you can get the Kobe V here and/or the LeBron VII here.
The Zoom Kobe V Chaos is only 3 days away, but the second colorway (black/del sol/varsity purple) will hit Foot Locker and House of Hoops stores on Saturday, January 16th.
