Since we previewed it last week, some people have been wondering if Kobe will wear the Kobe V White/Varsity Red/Black at this year’s All-Star game. It does drop a week before the 2010 NBA All-Star game, and matches the colors of the Western Conference jerseys. But after all, this is Kobe we’re talking about and after 4 Championships and 11 All-Star appearances we can all agree that this year’s potential leading vote-getter deserves something special for the occasion. So let the speculation cease: here is a look at the Nike Zoom Kobe V All-Star, hitting Foot Locker and House of Hoops stores on 2/12.

By now you’re probably familiar with the Zoom Kobe V. For those of you who saw the Chaos colorway when it dropped the day after Christmas, and heard about the Black/Del-Sol/Varsity Purple version releasing 1/16, but are holding out for a more basic colorway: here it is. The Zoom Kobe V hits Foot Locker and House of Hoops stores on 2/6 in White/Varsity Red/Black.

Can’t wait for the next Zoom Kobe IV in navy/red? It just hit LA and Chicago House of Hoops locations, and should be in Harlem on Monday. This will release at Foot Locker as well, but later in September.

One interesting move on this Kobe IV color-up that makes it different from all the others is translucent piecing on the outsole only at the forefoot. The “Carpe Diem” Zoom Kobe IV had translucent “ice” outsole piecing but it extended from toe to heel. Check the extra shots after the jump.

Good thing puppets and cartoons have four fingers, because now Kobe’s got four rings.

This 4-ring charcoal heather t-shirt is going to release at House of Hoops LA (Beverly Center) and LA area Foot Locker locations on Monday afternoon. The t-shirt design stems from Nike’s series of puppet commercials that ran throughout the NBA playoffs featuring Kobe and LeBron.

Nike designer Eric Avar collaborated with Kobe Bryant to come up with the extremely low cut, high performance Nike Zoom Kobe IV. Bryant’s speed, quickness and agility forced Nike to come with a shoe that would help him play at the highest level night in, night out.

House of Hoops Chicago was the place to be this past Sunday, March 22, when Kobe Bryant stopped by to launch the new Nike Zoom Kobe IV Lower Merion. Crowds of up to 2000 people gathered at the store eager to catch a glimpse of Kobe and get their hands on his latest kicks, inspired by the athlete’s alma mater, Lower Merion High School. The crimson and white colorway, along with the Lower Merion High School Aces team logo, pay tribute to the place where Kobe’s career really started. While at the store, Kobe took part in a brief Q&A and then signed autographs for fans.

A new color-up of the Zoom Kobe IV reps Kobe’s high school team, the Lower Merion Aces. House of Hoops had a Lower Merion Hyperdunk in the energy pack last November, and this Zoom Kobe IV carries the same elements: white/maroon color-up and the “ace” logo (except this time on the heel not the tongue). The shoe drops at House of Hoops LA and NYC on Saturday 3/21, and arrives at the Chicago House of Hoops the very next day. More detailed store shots after the jump.

Lebron and Kobe All-Star shoes will be part of the All-Star Pack hitting all three House of Hoops and 5 select AZ Foot Lockers on 2/7. The Zoom Kobe IV and Zoom Lebron VI will be matched up to their squad’s colors, with blue for the East and red for the West. On Super Bowl Sunday a few hours before kick-off Kobe made a stop at Foot Locker on 34th St. in NYC to talk about his Zoom Kobe 4 and unveil a new special make-up for Rice High School. Nike and Kobe have a strong relationship with the school, and previously released a Rice Hyperdunk. Rice High School is getting these shoes just in time to wear them at the upcoming New York City Championships. Like the Hyperdunk, this special edition Zoom Kobe 4 should be available at House of Hoops at a later date. Shots of Kobe at the store and Rice players admiring their new kicks are below.
