Dropping tomorrow, 4/17, is the House of Hoops exclusive Melo M5 JBC All Star in limited quantities! These hot kicks are rockin’ a solid red upper with Carmelo’s stitched initials (CA), white patent on the toe and along the sides, a white and red mid/outsole, and a metallic jumpman logo to top it off. This one’s unique to previous M5 launches, so make sure to swing by one of the three House of Hoops locations (NY, LA, or CHI) to cop a pair. More shots after the jump.

Melo M5 Wht/Mts/Uniblu/Taxi

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

Launching at Foot Locker stores 11/22, this wht/uniblu colorway of the Melo M5 is a must have. You may have seen Carmelo wearing a pair of these during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, but how about an alternative colorway? Although most of the features are similar to the blk/mts/taxi M5 posted last week, you’ll notice a different pattern on the upper. Overall, this shoe is quite pleasing to the eye and to top it off the white patent found on the toe box and above the midsole only makes it more appealing. For more shots, swing by the gallery.

Melo M5 blk 11/22

Melo M5 blk hits Foot Locker 11/22.

Differing from previous Melo’s, the M5 combines features inspired by other Jordan releases. You’ll find heel similarities to the XV, and a stitched patterned upper comparable to the most recent XXIII. Inside the shoe you’ll find an orange/yellow quilted sock lining which is definitely a bonus. However, there’s more to the Melo M5 than just looks. On top of these style hilights the shoe also holds up when it comes to performance, mirroring the versatility of its namesake (Carmelo Anthony) and being a solid court shoe for all 5 positions.  For more detailed shots check the gallery.
