With fall on its way Foot Locker is bringing in some Nike Sweet Classic Mid’s (Low’s too), and this particular grey/black/lime is hitting stores in September. A smooth grey upper sits on a white vulcanized rubber mid-sole, accented by a black stripe. The toe and heel are capped with black rubber as well, with a bright lime Nike on the heel at both the mid-sole and collar.
Classic look. Simple colors. Basic silhouette. The perforated upper gives some depth and texture to the design. This black/red Nike Sweet Classic Low is solid, right down to its vulcanized sole. It will be available at Foot Locker in time for Holiday ‘09, along with some other Sweet Classics, including hi-tops. More shots in the gallery.
Looking for something smooth and velvety with a touch of satin? Then cue the smooth jazz, flip on the remote control fire, and slip on a pair of these. The LA Courtside Sweet Classic blk/v.purp/v.maize, a House of Hoops exclusive hitting stores on Friday, May 8th, is not what you were expecting. It has the silhouette of a Nike Sweet Classic, but is made of a fuzzier velvet material with a shiny silky swoosh. It really resembles a pair of slippers, and probably looks good with matching silk pajamas. So pimp. The bow-tie on the tongue is a nice touch. I think I need them.
