After ten years, the Tai Chi Mid is back. The Tai Chi reached legendary status after the 2000 NBA Dunk Contest and by 2002, it was being worn by nearly 20% of the NBA. Holding onto the same classic style and adding a few new design enhancements, the Tai Chi is returning balance back to the city parks and NBA hardwood.

The Nike Shox BB4 (think “boing” commercials and Vince Carter dunking over Frederic Weis in the Olympics) is back at House of Hoops in a different retro color: black/metallic silver/lapis. When the white/metallic silver dropped there was some chatter that the black color would be a solid pick-up and now here it is. Shots below with more after the jump

Don’t forget, the Shox BB4 return onlys at House of Hoops this Saturday, May 16th; made famous by the “boing” heard round the world, when Vinsanity (6′6) dunked over Frederic Weis (7′2) at the 2000 Olympics.

Retro Jordan 1’s are flowing in with quite the assortment of styles and colorways this year. Boing, Boing, Boing……….. That’s the first thing that hits me when I see the Shox BB4. This iconic shoe was featured in classic commercials where a quiet Vince Carter would leap over a trash talkin’, Super -Afroed Gary Payton. For anybody who slept on these the first time, all three House of Hoops are getting an exclusive run of the ever-clean white/silver colorway.
