The Asics GEL Kayano has been such a successful performance running shoe that it is now on its 15th iteration, but what makes this limited edition version so special are the features that pay tribute to the ING NYC Marathon. The removable sock-liner is an actual map of the race. Also, the body of the sneaker from heel to toe-box has the classic race image of the mass of humanity crossing the Verrazano Bridge, just past the starting line. This special release was in Foot Locker locations only in the 5 boroughs of NYC.
