The Air Jordan Fusions have been met with a lot of controversy, but the Fusion VI is viewed as a successful model, first releasing at the end of 2008. The silhouette blends the AF1 with the Jordan VI, and is available as both a mid and low-top. The sole and mid-sole are clearly derivative of the AF1, while the upper mixes in Jordan VI characteristics. This mix of the "best of both worlds" is called out on the lining of the tongue which displays the saying.
