Air Griffey Max 1
Often referred to as “grey/teal” this color blocking follows the traditional Griffey look of mainly subdued colors on the upper, with a shot of something brighter peaking through the visible air, playing up Swooshes/other details, and set through the outsole. The only Griffey release this year that didn’t follow that pattern was the blacked out Air Griffey Max 1. The other make ups got extra juice from volt, fresh water, and hot red.
This Air Griffey Max 1 has a mixture of textures and shades of grey on the upper, hilighted by a metallic silver Swoosh on the forefoot and marina blue lace-holders and tongue tab. More metallic silver and marina blue show up on the vertical Swoosh on the heel, and the visible air windows on the white midsole.
