ZIG SLASH

Reebok's bold new basketball shoe utilizes their unique ZigTech outsole first made popular on their training shoe, the Zig Pulse. The ZigTech outsole is designed to transfer energy from your heel strike forward through your sole (visualize the way waves shoot through a slinky when you shake one end). An interesting note on the outsole here: there was concern that traction would be an issue with the foam sole having minimal rubberized traction on the toe. We have learned that the actual Zig Slash release (not reflected on this sample) will have rubberized traction on the heel as well as the forefoot to prevent slippage.
