Originally released in 1997 as the 3rd shoe in the Penny Hardaway line, the Foamposite made a huge splash with its revolutionary injection-molded foam upper. This material quickly became a staple in the sneaker game, finding its way onto other Penny models (Air Penny 3, 1/2 cent) as well as other "posite" models like the Flightposite.
