JORDAN XVIII

Due to MJ's return to the court, Washington Wizards games were now often nationally televised, and the with the XVIIIs on his feet, fans once again got to see MJ play in his namesake kicks. The XVIII was designed by Tate Kuerbis and styled after the Lamborghini Murciélago. Design cues featured a one-piece upper, side vents and a racing tire inspired outsole. The XVIII also featured a Carbon Comfort Control Plate embedded in the sockliner, dual-layered Zoom Air cushioning, and, once again, a lace cover which added to the clean look. -Zac, Sole Collector Magazine
