The Jordan CP3.V, Chris Paul’s signature shoe, has been released in several different colorways this year, none of which more uniquely designed then the CP3.V “Year of the Dragon,” which released yesterday at House of Hoops by Foot Locker locations nationwide. With a colorway inspired by the traditional Chinese New Year garb, there are numerous designs and symbols throughout the shoe with roots in Chinese culture – including a specially designed box. The upper has a white base with a glossy Chinese themed design wrapping around the toe the midfoot on both sides. The ankle padding and tongue, as well as back half of the midsole are storm blue with university gold accents on various branding spots throughout the shoe, the midsole and outsole, and the laces. The sole of the shoe is transparent through which you can see more Chinese patters. Drawings of dragons surround the CP3 logo on the tongue and the length of the midsole.
